Ino does not collect any personal information from its users. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or submit any identifying information to use the app.
All content you enter into the app - including subjects, assignment names, test dates, grades, and study session data - is stored exclusively on your local device. This data is never transmitted to us, never uploaded to any server we operate, and is never accessible to anyone other than you.
We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or behavioural tracking libraries that collect information about how you use the app. We do not track your usage patterns, session lengths, feature interactions, or any other in-app behaviour.
All user-generated data within Ino is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage mechanisms. This includes your subjects, assignments, test schedules, grade entries, and study timer history.
Because all data is stored locally, we have no ability to access, view, recover, or modify your data at any time. If you delete the app from your device, all associated data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. We cannot recover this data on your behalf.
We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that store or process user data for the core features of the application.
Ino offers a one-time paid upgrade called Ino Plus. This is a single purchase made through Apple's App Store and is not a subscription. Ino Plus unlocks AI-powered features including grade analysis, personalised study insights, and advanced performance breakdowns.
We do not process, store, or have any access to your payment information. All transactions are handled entirely and exclusively by Apple through their App Store payment infrastructure. Your billing details, payment method, and Apple ID credentials are never visible to us. For questions about billing or refunds, please refer to Apple's support resources.
Your Ino Plus purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID using the standard App Store restore purchases mechanism.
When you use the AI-powered features included in Ino Plus, certain academic data - such as your entered grades, subjects, and assignment information - may be temporarily transmitted to a third-party AI service in order to generate personalised insights and analysis.
This data transmission occurs only when you actively use an AI feature. The data sent is limited strictly to what is necessary to generate the requested analysis. It is not stored by the AI service beyond the immediate request, is not used to train AI models, and is not shared with any other parties.
Users who do not purchase Ino Plus and do not use AI features will have no data transmitted externally at any time.
Ino does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, marketing platforms, social media SDKs, or data broker services. We do not serve advertisements within the app and we do not share any data with advertisers.
The only third-party involvement in Ino is Apple's App Store, which handles all payment processing for Ino Plus purchases, and the AI service used exclusively for Ino Plus AI features as described above. Both of these involvements are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Ino is intended for use by students of all ages, including those under the age of 13. Because we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from any user, Ino is compliant with children's privacy standards including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions.
No personal information is ever collected from any user regardless of age. Parents and guardians can be confident that their children's information is not collected or processed by us in any way when using the core features of the app.
Because Ino does not collect any personal information, there is no personal data held by us that you would need to request access to, correct, or delete. All data you create in the app exists solely on your own device and is entirely within your control.
You may delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. This action permanently removes all locally stored content associated with Ino.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection laws - such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California's Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or Australia's Privacy Act - you should know that because we collect no personal data, those rights are satisfied by the design of the app itself.
